The location was very convenient and the price was excellent. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Breakfast was fine. Very happy! Would stay again.
Made the call to possibly reserve. Tiffany answered and was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and offered to hold the (last) room available to accommodate our needs. In the newly remodeled lobby/check in area there is a beautiful comfy feel of a fire place and freshly brewed coffee waiting our arrival in one direction, and the other a smiling, friendly, personable Tiffany who was very accommodating in person... We noticed there is a washer and dryer on site, vending machines available all hours, and a nice variety of breakfast waiting in the morning. Our room was freshly painted with a beautiful accented teal wall, and decorated with a very modern and sleek new look. Very Beautiful accent colors throught the hotel giving it a homelike comfy feel with an added touch of class... Prior to our stay we read reviews of them being under construction and remodeling which may have been a little inconvenient for some, However None of that was an issue for us. Upon leaving we spoke with Manager Tammy (front desk) about the new changes being made. She's super sweet and easy to talk to. I almost hated to leave lol. She was understandably excited about the new changes made and yet to come. We absolutely look forward to stopping back the next time we are in town. Couldn't ask for better staff and accommodations. They are in fact working Very hard to give the guests a beautiful atmosphere and a very pleasant and accommodating stay. Thank you ladies for your part in making this a great experience and stay for us. Long story short, WELL WORTH THE STAY! :D (Sorry, the pictures don't do it justice, check it out in person, you won't regret it.)
Good location, fast food or sit down dinner options within walking distance. You can hear road noises when the A/C shuts off. Nice receptionist. Firm mattress, 4 usuable pillows. Big room with a king size bed, desk and sofa bed/couch. Plenty of lights. Frig has an actual freezer compartment for the blue ice packs. Could only give a 4 Star rating, because of the poor house keeping.
Rooms are recently re-done, and very comfortable. Toiletries provided were of good quality. Blackout curtains didn't quite reach the sides of the window, so some light leaked in, but that was easily fixed by shocking the curtain in the window recess. Breakfast was meh. The waffle batter flowed incredibly slowly out of the dispenser, and was difficult to release from the iron, though the resulting waffle was tasty. The syrup was completely empty, so the waffle went without. Potatoes were tasty, if slightly less than crisp. Everything else was fine and as expected. To be fair, I want expecting 3 star dining, but I had been looking forward to the waffle. Checkout was swift once we got hold of someone - I get the feeling mornings are a little understaffed, but it's probably right on the bubble. In all, some nits to pick, but that's all they are. Considering the prices, this is a fantastic bargain.
